Round I - The Brief
PPG are a global manufacturer of paints, coatings, and speciality materials. A Fortune 200 company, PPG have operations in 70 countries worldwide.
Brawl have worked with PPG for over six years for several brands, including Johnstone’s Paint, Johnstone’s Trade and Leyland Trade. We’ve had briefs for new product releases, product tutorials, how-to guides and sales offers; creating stills, animations, and copy. We’ve had briefs for strategic work, creating a tone of voice guide for Johnstone’s Paint and becoming their social retainer; creating and developing a social strategy, creating content, providing analytical reporting and community management.

Round II - The Brawl
Across our work with PPG, we’ve delivered cracking creative and produced quality content - built to inform, engage, inspire, and educate. We’ve created expansive social campaigns that tell one cohesive story across multiple touchpoints. We’ve created a detailed social strategy, built on buyer persona research, considering calendar opportunities and tweaked each month after reviewing analytics. We’ve adapted our approach, tone and messaging based on the brand, the product and the all-important audience.
Round III - K.O.
The result? For us, getting to work on exciting briefs with a great client is an absolute result! But let’s get technical… as well as creating thousands of assets, we’ve seen some amazing results since becoming Johnstone’s Paint’s social retainer in May 2021.
On Instagram followers have increased 3033%, published content has increased 122%, and average daily reach has gone up 9.1%. Whilst on Facebook, post link clicks have gone up 1745%, with impressions increasing by 236%, and engagement increasing by 310%.
